Description
The 57 Series Generation II air intake, also referred to as an FIPK, is K&N’s ultimate performance product. These performance intakes are designed to increase power by as much as 10%. 57 Series FIPK’s are CARB exempt, street legal in all 50 US states, come with K&N’s Million Mile Limited Warranty and are guaranteed to increase power. K&N air intake systems replace your vehicle’s restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This translates into more power and torque for your vehicle. The air filters on these kits are washable and reusable. Most of our air intake systems are easy to install using tools commonly available (see installation instructions).
Designed to provide increased horsepower, the K&N 57-1514-1 Second Generation Fuel Injection Performance Kit is a quick solution for vehicle owners who are looking for an increase in reliable power. Street legal, installable in 90 minutes or less and built around K&N’s High-Flow technology, which utilizes a special oversized and washable cotton gauze air filter and special cold air intake, nonmetallic tubes, the 57-1514-1 drives a massive amount of air into an engine, which translates into power affordable on virtually any budget. .caption { font-family: Verdana, Helvetica neue, Arial, serif; font-size: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-style: italic; } ul.indent { list-style: inside disc; text-indent: -15px; } table.callout { font-family: verdana; font-size: 11px; line-height: 1. 3em; } td.vgoverview { height: 125px; background: #9DC4D8 url(http://images.amazon.com/images/G/01/electronics/detail-page/callout-bg.png) repeat-x; border-left: 1px solid #999999; border-right: 1px solid #999999; padding-left: 20px; padding-right: 20px; padding-bottom: 10px; width: 250px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 12px; }
How High-Flow Technology Works Many K&N intake systems are street legal in all 50 states and include a California Air Resource Board (CARB) Executive Order (EO) number that ensures the kit has been tested to comply with emissions standards. EO numbers apply to the kit as well as the year, make and model it is being installed on. Systems with no EO number are street legal in most states but may not be used on emissions controlled vehicles in the state of California or other states adopting California emission standards. Consult K&N’s website to search by part to see which cold air intakes are CARB exempt for which vehicles. Key Features:
